Description
Located in the heart of Bessemer’s Pipe Shop community, McNeil Park sits on the site of the former McNeil School. The park has a walking track, two new pavilions, a basketball court, children’s playground and picnic tables. Get to know McNeil Park
McNeil Park is the only site in the city to have an outdoor water feature/splash pad in which children can play and cool off in the hot Alabama summer heat. McNeil Park also serves as a rallying ground for the annual Valley Creek Cleanup and the annual Pipe Shop Day Celebration, both held each August.
